Water Sector Workforce in the Danube region
The water sector in the Danube region faces a significant challenge as it relates to water supply and sanitation sector workforce, particularly surrounding the issues of diversity, attraction, and retention. The sector is a dynamic field, yet young professionals entering the workforce often face challenges related to job availability, career development and long-term growth opportunities. To address this issue effectively, it is crucial to understand the current state of the workforce within water utilities, as well as the perspective from young professionals.
