The Danube Water Conference addresses European and Global Water challenges in delivering Water services. Over 180 Participants attending the 2016 Conference addressed the Double Challenge of meeting the EU Requirements and the Global Challenge of improving the access to water and sanitation services.
This year's conference will deal with the "Challenges of Financing Water Services for Development". The Conference will bring together more than 150 senior water sector representatives from more than 15 countries to discuss the challenges associated with the financing of water services in the Danube region.
The 2017 Danube Water Conference will be held in conjunction with the IWA – Performance Indicators Conference (May 15-17). The convening of the conferences together will enable a rich exchange of experiences among regular IWA PI participants and professionals from the Danube region, where benchmarking and performance assessment activities have been quite intense in the recent past.
