IAWR, the International Association of Waterworks in the Rhine Catchment Area represent the interests of around 106 million people in 17 riparian nations of these catchments (Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland). Around 160 drinking water supply companies have joined forces in these organizations. Their common strategy and vision for the provision of drinking water is set out in this memorandum.
