IAWD, the International Association of Water Service Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area, is the prime association of water and wastewater utilities in the Danube region – an international cooperation network with a shared vision, a shared mission, and a shared approach. We believe in strength through cooperation.

Our aim is to create a strong voice that promotes the ongoing improvement of water services and utility operation in the Danube region: The Voice of the Danube.

IAWD Membership Types
Utility Membership

is restricted to legal entities active in the field of public water supply and wastewater management in the Danube and Balkan region.

Association Membership

is offered to persons and legal entities deemed appropriate to promote the objectives of IAWD through their work. 

Institutional Membership

is open to all physical persons and legal entities who support the activities of the IAWD.
