Voice of the Danube

The Danube Water Program proudly presents the first edition of the Danube Water Forum. It starts on October 27, covers a theme of enormous importance – and you don't need to get up from your chair to be there.

The First Danube Water Forum was originally scheduled as this year's main programmatic - and also social - event to be hosted by the Danube Water Program and with generous support by the City of Banja Luka. But in the face of current pandemic crisis, the First Danube Water Forum had to be rescheduled and will be held as a three-day series of webinars on a theme of enormous relevance: In the middle of an unparalleled global crisis in which fact-based, data-driven, informed decisions, choices and policies are literally a matter of life and death, the First Danube Water Forum will cover “The Importance of Water Sector Data in the Digital Age”, discussing the gathering of and working with data as an indispensable basis for smart policies, strong utilities and sustainable services in the Danube region.

The Danube Water Program, run by IAWD and the World Bank, and the City of Banja Luka invite you to attend free of charge by simply linking in with your desktop or mobile device, every afternoon from 27 to 29 October, 13.30 h until 16.15h CET.
