Danube Water Forum: Welcome – and see you Tomorrow!
Contributed by:
Voice of the Danube

The first Danube Water Forum kicks off tomorrow, 13:30 CET, and if you haven't registered to attend yet, do it now. It's free of charge, it's an online event, and all you have to do is fill out an online registration form to meet great people giving you updates on a hot topic.

Looking forward to welcome you tomorrow are the Republic of Srpska's Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Prof. Boris Pasalic, PhD, and Mr. Igor Radojicic, Mayor of the City of Banja Luka. Originally, the Forum would have been held in Banja Luka, and we all are very grateful that these most supportive hosts have extended their support to our virtual event. We are looking forward to a future physical Forum in Banka Luka, once the crisis has passed.

Also welcoming the participants will be Ms. Elisabeth Gruber, Director for International Financial Institutions at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and Walter Kling, IAWD President.

Moderated by Mr. Raimund Mair, Senior Water Resource Management Specialist and DWP Program Leader at the World Bank, and Mr. Philip Weller, Head of the IAWD's Technical Secretariat, the day's program includes a highlight keynote from Mr. Joachim D'Eugenio, Senior Expert at the European Commission´s Directorate General for the Environment.
