Time to make your plans: In a very short six weeks, the 2024 Danube Water Forum will be on. The Forum is titled "Riding the wave: Water Sector Innovations for a new Climate Reality", and will be held in beautiful Brasov, Romania on 29 and 30 May, back-to-back with a Board Meeting of the International Water Association (IWA), the annual UBP Danube Hub workshop, and several business meetings. International Water Association Executive Director Kalanithy Vairavamoorthy is scheduled as the keynote speaker of the opening session. Mr. Vairavamoorthy combines a strong engineering background with practical international experience, has published extensively and has a strong international profile working closely with the World Bank, UN-Habitat, UNESCO and multiple other significant stakeholders. He has led several urban water management projects all over the world and is currently a member of the ADB’s Water Advisory Group.
Mr. Vairavamoorthy’s opening keynote will be followed by Michel Sponar
Additional interesting speaker rosters are scheduled for all sessions of the Forum, and many will deal with practical approaches and solutions for current and future challenges, like Lindita Sakiri
