The advance party is already there, preparations are in full swing, and Wednesday will see the kickoff of a record-setting 2024 Danube Water Forum. 

The first record was shattered before the doors of the venue even opened: For the first time, in the history of our annual regional events, the number of registered participants climbed over the 300 mark. Welcome, record crowd!

2024 DWF "Riding the wave: Water Sector Innovations for a new Climate Reality" is set in Brasov, Romania, and will be hosted by Compania Apa Brasov and ARA, the Romanian Water Association. 
We thank them for walking more than one extra mile to make this a memorable event, marked by great hospitality in beautiful surroundings, exciting content with a strong future focus, a roster of distinguished speakers, and a wealth of networking opportunities.

Talking of a strong focus on the future - committed to support, motivate and promote the next generation, IAWD supports the international Young Water Professionals network and cooperates with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism to sponsor Forum participation, for twelve Young Water Professionals from everywhere in the region. In Brasov they will both assist the organization, and take the stage as session co-chairs and with poster presentations.   

Means Brasov will be both the biggest, and the youngest Danube Water Forum ever. Welcome – and let's ride the wave together!
