We proudly present the "Member of the Month" special feature series that provides insights into the work of our members, the successes they achieve, the challenges they overcome, and the thinking behind their IAWD memberships.
We introduce "Member of the Month" because we all know very well that IAWD's success is driven by lively communication, mutual support and shared know-how and experiences. The better we get to know each other, the more positive energy feeds into our community.
Core Activities
The Association was founded with the aim of improving the business of its members in the following areas:
- Improvement of the conditions for the production and distribution of drinking water and the conditions for the purification and removal of waste water and the application of technical-technological achievements in the mentioned areas
- Rational use of water resources
- Adequate management and maintenance of the water supply and sewerage structure
- Investments in infrastructure in order to improve the services of water supply, removal and treatment of waste water to users
- Improvement of relations with consumers
- Improvement of mutual cooperation between members of the Association
- Improvement of cooperation with other organizations at the national and international level in the sector for water supply, treatment and disposal of waste water
- Improvement of cooperation with line ministries and local self-government (founder of water companies)

Our Association strengthens capacities and provides services to members, represents and protects their interests, in cooperation with local, national institutions and organizations in Montenegro and beyond.

Yes.
Why should young people work in the water sector?
Bearing in mind the lack of adequately trained employees working in the water sector, we believe that with the involvement of young water professionals in the work of the Association, we can provide a bright future in this area.
Why did you become an IAWD member?
Exchange of experiences, capacity building, cooperation with associations from the region and beyond, participation in various events whose organization aims at overall improvement in the water sector, etc.
