Yes, you've read it correctly! We have a date for the 2025 Danube Water Conference. Here is what we already know about our next big annual event: 

The 2025 DWC will once again take place in Vienna, from 14 till 16 May. Titled "Looking Back, Looking Forward: A State of the Sector Update",  its main focus will be on the World Bank State of the Sector Update. This document is currently under development, builds on the original State of the Sector report, and will give comprehensive, up-to-date insights on the situation of the water sector in the Danube region.

With this fresh report on the table, the 2025 DWC will take stock of challenges met, successes achieved, lessons learned – and everything that needs to be done in the foreseeable future to keep the water clean and flowing.

It will again be a memorable event. We have secured the perfect location, we will once more involve the next generation, the region's Young Water Professionals, and we are building a program that will appeal decision-makers, stakeholders, and water utility professionals alike.
